Approximately 40 family and friends joined together for the 14th Pitman Reunion held on 27 October.

The meeting followed the now fairly traditional program which included time to meet and chat, eat a sumptuous lunch brought and shared by the attendees, catch up on items of interest, and take some photos for the family album.
Items of interest included:
- news about the renovation of the home built by Thomas Pitman on Osmond Terrace, Norwood, South Australia
- a new information board at the Houghton Cemetery which includes 55 descendants (and spouses) of John Pitman and Charlotte Barnett
- news about the decision at Seaview High School to continue to have a ‘Pitman’ House in the school; and
- some interesting facts about the Pitman Library that was previously located in the Marion Council area
A number of information sheets about items of interest were also available on the day as follows:
- John Pitman of Houghton by Ev Pitman
- Magill Cemetery by Helen Dorrestyn
- ‘Charlie’ Pitman by Sandra Bates
